This is Newlyn harbour near penzance looking decidedly dishevelled courtesy of some old tasma and a bit of under exposure from my olympus pen d. Lots of great subject matter here for the pulverantilist, i will return with shock, horror some colour negative!

Wonderful effect with this film and processing. One of a kind. For me, the underexposure makes these pix even more unique.

@metaluna thanks Marc. This was my second roll with this film, the first one I exposed at iso 25 and to be honest it came out a bit too clean for me so for this roll I tried it at iso 50. I'm really pleased with the outcome:) I plan to take you here in April, I think you guys will appreciate it.

@metaluna @agitate-pictures I've a theory why these work. As well as the emulsion its the 4 /3 aspect ratio that half frame gives you. Its what we grew up with on the tv, what our brains are wired to. When the scene is devoid of anything modern we can't help but see the nostalgia in it. That's why I'm so excited for you guys to shoot on the 16mm, 4 /3 again, classic and timeless if you choose your locations and subjects with care.
    Simon:)
