this is my first ever bw film on lc-a. and my first self-developement // I shot this film very quickly in the lunch break. just was going to shoot the test roll for the test development. finally it was a lucky lunch break for me.
Since I was the only one who had a lomo camera in the group, I did the lomowalk alone. An hour before we left for the airport, I took one last stroll along the beach.
LESSON LEARNED: the beach can over expose an ISO 100 film
Dippemess is a tradition which dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the Maamess, as it was then called, was a medieval market for domestic articles. Potters from the Westerwald, Kannebäckerland and Urberach came here to sell their wares, especially their ceramic bowls and pots. These were known in the Frankfurt dialect as 'Dippe' from which the event soon took its name. Over the years, more and more fairground booths and popular attractions joined the market as well.
The Dippemess today is Frankfurt’s largest fair and a lot of fun :)
Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.

After more than one year after taking this diafilm Fuji Velvia 50 at the Hangar Rockin Festival 2015 I found a good way to scan/digitalize them. With a special setup a took fotos of the dias with my Sony A99 and a Minolta AF 100mm Macro. Now I like the results and would like to present them because some of them are really great action/people shots all taken with manual focus on the legendary Minolta SRT 101b. Have fun.
