The Müllverbrennungsanlage Spittelau works as a destructor and caloric power plant, but is also a part of the city’s skyline, with its artistic and innovative design redesigned by the hippie-trippie artist and eco-architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000). A weekend in Vienna exploring the plural culture of this metropolis with unique charm, vibrancy and flair. The capital of classical culture, always seeking a balance between classicism and modernity.
