  • Snowy Redscale and a blue darkroom experiment

    geteilt von adash am 2013-01-27

We have some snow in Sofia these days, so I decided to take my chances with Redscale. The blue mess comes from an attempt to recreate this tipster: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2012/10/31/make-wet-red-bubbles-grow-on-your-home-processed-colour-film but with blue light on a redscale film. More light and more water is needed probably.

Seen here is a monument, celebrating 1300 years since the creation of the First Bulgarian Empire. Unfortunately the monument was left unmaintained for too many years and is now falling apart. Like the rest of the country, of course!

  • Rollei IR shot as B&W in the forest

Yeah, I had no more film with me, so I had to remove the IR filter and shoot the remaining roll or Rollei Infrared 400s as B&W. Some in the brighter scenes were shot with an ordinary red filter, and these in the shades - with no filter at all. It was just too dark....
