"You can call me John Wayne"

I met this sweet old man by the dock in Olympia, Washington close to downtown. I don't remember what sparked the conversation (probably my giant film camera and the fact that it's way older than me) He introduced himself to me as John Wayne and said "back in the day, I used to really look like him.. do you still see it? Can I still get the ladies?" Then I asked him if I could take his portrait.
