Venice throughout the carnevale period was magical. It felt like I was walking about inside a story book, running into mysterious characters in sweeping robes and masks, and being led to charming, otherworldly places. The city felt more magical in its moments of stillness; all breathtaking yet at peace; something that I so badly wanted to capture within 35mm frames.
