This is the first time I've captured a concert with an analog camera. The Accor Arena is huge and I was in the stands, quite far from the stage, plus it was forbidden to bring a SLR or any interchangeable lens camera, so I decided to bring the Olympus IS-200, which is a bridge type camera - I also brought a x1,9 converter, which is NOT a removable lens litterally, so when the staff asked me questions about the cam, I tried to look as stupid as I coud and I passed 😆(I am very talented at it).The concert was awesome. Josh was obviously moved to play in Paris, given his past here, and it showed. 🥲
Now, what came out of this?
The camera is easy to use, but not stabilized, and it opens at 4.5 maximum (5,6 with the zoom at 110). I put on the most sensitive film possible, and I made 3 rolls. 2 thirds of the photos are crap, the rest are just passable, but at least it gives fairly authentic atmospheric photos.
What do you think? Any advice for future concerts like this?
