Mask Swapping, my mask wants to see the world

I just got a crazy idea. Me and some other guys are frantically building masks so I thought it would be nice to see someone else shooting his world, his style with my mask. So why don’t do some mask swapping. But my mask did not agree, it wants to see the world. So how I gonna do that? Well everybody that wants to use the mask sends me his or her adress, I send the mask to the first person and forward the adress he has to send it to. The second person notifies me when the mask arrives and I forward the adress of the third person and so on. In this way the mask does not have to return to me each time and i can keep track of it. Because in the end (even if it should get destroyed) I would love to have it back.

One rule: don’t modify the mask

It is a 6×6 mask suited for Holga 120, but it should work in a Diana and most 120 shooters.

I am gonna send two masks, but if you haven’t got enough time, I would like you to shoot the first one.

Man, your mask-swap idea is AWESOME, and I would love to be the first guinea pig to try out your first mask! (Will PM you my address.) It's a pity I destroyed my own 'quadrachrome' filter by accident, otherwise I would have sent it to you in exchange. I suppose I could make something else instead though... will have to put my thinking cap on. Regarding your hilarious video, I think the new word 'Lomopath' should be added to the dictionary, with a definition similar to 'Psychopath' and 'Sociopath'...! ;-)

Fantastic...! Am really excited at the prospect of being the caretaker of Filter Force One on its (his? her?) maiden voyage to England! As for who to send it on to afterwards, I reckon the obvious candidate would be @weleasewoger72 - he certainly knows his way around a crazy-assed homemade filter and I have every confidence he'd be a worthy custodian of FF1 on the next leg of its round-the-world tour... What say ye, Woger...?

YES! - FF1 landed safely in my letterbox on Saturday (sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I was building a patio all weekend, so had no time to honour my Lomo duties...!) Can't wait to try it out. Thanks a MILLION my friend! :-)

@buckshot I've got some bad news for you. I said I tried it in my Diana, and that's true, but I tried it without film.... This weekend I tried my Gauthier-Dust-Rust filter in my diana and yes it did fit, but the film did not wind. So I got a free afternoon (because I am going to work too much next week). And I am currently, right very now, building my Mini Rust Dust filter. Going to shoot a roll and send it straight to the UK. I hope @weleasewoger72 joins this project and I hope hope they mention the project as requested in my Lomo-Guru interview.

Good luck with the filter, take your time and hopefully I'll find someone you can send it too.

I have to confess I've been so busy at work this week that I didn't open your package until yesterday morning... Imagine my surprise and delight to find not one but THREE filters in there! The two Holga ones are unfortunately too big for my Diana, but the First Lady one was perfect, so I loaded her up this morning and went to a stock-car race that happened to be on near where I live. It wasn't a particularly sunny day, but with the Ektachrome 400 roll I loaded, it should be ok. Not sure whether to x-pro it or not. Anyway, will put it in the lab tomorrow and hopefully should have it back next week. Very curious to see the results, 'cos that's one cool-lookin' filter...! @weleasewoger72: If you wanna p.m. me your address, I'll send gauthier's filters on to you, ok? Thanks, guys.

The damn lab STILL hasn't returned my test film with your First Lady filter. It's been a whole month already, and the next opportunity for it to arrive will now be Tuesday, 6 November! Ridiculous. Never using them again.

@buckshot That's ridiculously outrageous ! My lab has a one hour service, but because they see my face every day, they put my rolls in the machine when I hand them over. Fifteen minutes later I have my developed 120 rolls. By the way, I was lazy too. I still have to send you the 4x4 Dust Rust filter.
