ONE OF THE FIRST AGFAS WITH THE RED BUTTON

Trying my latest camera, an Agfa Optima 500 Sensor. The lens is rather soft and from what I read it’s not quite as refined as those from its successors, the 535 or 1035. Also, with the 400 ISO film I shot images aren’t just soft, they’re also grainy. On top of that, they’re also all a bit overexposed because the 1,5 V battery I used for the test has too much voltage. So the images are quite imperfect, but I do like them more than I expected after first seeing the negatives. The camera is way bulkier than my Minox 35 (even quite a bit bulkier than the Optima 1035) and shooting it feels like operating an old tractor. But I like how sturdy it is. Looking forward to shooting it again! (Developed in Caffenol-C-M)
