Short tales from the Black Forest

When checking my cameras today I realised that there was still a film in my Contaflex. As I was curious to know what was in there I quickly went to our neighbouring city Darmstadt, a long walk through the Mathilden Park to reach the Russian Orthodox Church...the other part is still from August 2020 - a short holiday in the Black Forest; just between the two lockdowns. Ilford FP 4+ expired, developed in Rodinal 1+50 for 14 minutes at 20-21°.

The angle and distance here is reminiscent of one of your Portugal shots with the rolleiflex from the 70s. Its incredible to me how much more detail is present in the rollei shot. Partly I'm sure due to the expired film as the zeiss glass is top quality too but that rolleiflex, wow what a camera, there's nothing much that can beat it even now. Do you still have it?

@charliedontsurf You remember well - the Rollei I had then (a 2.8F) was stolen and replaced by a Rollei 3.5F - also a Planar which is very sharp too. Here I may also have not properly set the distance..other shots with the Contaflex show much more details, but I agree the Planar is said to be better than the Tessar.

@rolfmg absolutely, its one of the best shots I've seen outside of a book:)
