From a distance, the companionship of these two forms was apparent. I want to imagine they were out collecting special seashells for their collection they’ve been adding to for a lifetime. Conceivably, they have shells from every island and beach they’ve visited from years past. Chosen tiny oceanic relics of a full life out on the coffee table, a special piece of driftwood on the mantle. Little reminders. All of our accumulated trinkets are part of our personal narrative. I hope I’m still actively looking for treasures that remind me of my quirky blip of an existence here decades from now, when at that point, I hope I have amazing stories to tell, stories that haven’t happened yet, events that I can’t begin to imagine. My future will one day be my history and all I can do is continue on my continuum, quietly collecting along the way. #instantphotography #lomoinstantwide #laplage
