LC-A+ - Lost in action

Yes, my LC-A+ was a very close friend. We have gone through many situations. We shot a lot of photos together. We spent day and night close to each other. Now it is gone, lost in action.

On cold foggy January 6th, my LC-A+ made the last proper shot, doing street photography. After that, the shutter didn’t close anymore on its own. Only after releasing the trigger, no matter if bright conditions or dark conditions. Surely, it is a loss.

I bought a replacement already: Olympus XA. Let’s see how this litte gem works. It looks though, I need to have the light seals replaced. The slider mechanism for the lens cap also opens hard. Maybe, there is a fix for that. Also, I found that an edge is missing on the lens of the viewfinder. Though the focus seems to work.
