1961 Canon Canonet rangefinder camera
This is a digital shot of my new baby, and that's the cheapo film I used for this test roll. I do really like the clean design, solid feel and precise mechanics of this camera. It's a real pleasure to shoot with, and apart from the selenium-powered lightmeter (not a problem since I always expose with the Sunny 16 rule anyway on meterless cameras), I'm happy to find that everything's in good working order. Note how the film-advance lever and rewind crank are on the bottom, which is kinda unusual, but it's actually really intuitive to use after just a shot or two - plus it gives the top plate a really clean look. Am definitely looking forward to getting better acquainted with this cam.
