   Dear rockyrutherford.
   I drew attention to this photo, because there are not so many bird photos on this resource, and even more so with their name. I think this is primarily due to the difficulty of photographing birds on film. All the same, the birds are very mobile and not obedient photo models. Considering your message, I decided that it might be interesting for you to know that in Siberia goldfinches live in forests and in other wild, remote places from people. But there is a period, at the end of winter, at the end of February or in March, when they fly in large flocks to visit the cities. This doesn't happen every year. I think it depends on the size of their population and the state of the forage base. The townspeople have a good opportunity to get acquainted with these noisy restless birds in thise time. And of course, the townspeople have the opportunity to prove themselves and try to feed the flocks of these ever-hungry goldfinches. And, of course, take pictures of these interesting birds. I apologize to you for my uninvited intrusion, but in the next letter I will send you for a while a link to my short video on the winter meal of goldfinches at the edge of the city forest. It seems to me that these observations of mine can cause some pleasant feeling and satisfaction from new unusual knowledge. I plan to remove this link after a while, to free my memory.
