Old Soviet Car parked in the neighborhood

Such cars, of "Moskvich" brand were produced in USSR since late 1970s. But here is black license plate - they were made obsolete at 1980. So this car has the same owner for last 40 years. And it obviously functional as I see it parked in different places on different days. Also it is comparatively rare "liftback" version, named "Kombi" - it was curiosity even in my childhood. #car #oldcar #35mm #blackandwhite #ussr #history

Moskvich is very cool. A very good friend of mine has one, a 407, built in 1963. Everything is original, even the paper sticker for quality control on Moscow with a pencilled signature is still there. The Skoda next to the Moskvich is mine, but rather young (1976). www.lomography.id/homes/crosschannel/albums/2208093-praha-2…

@crosschannel Wow, one won't usually find that model of Moskvich in neighborhood! I vaguely remember them from childhood - though even then they were kinda antique!

And that Skoda S 100 - it reminds me something, but I'd rather go and comment there :)
