The Monzen-nakacho district was my best discovery of this stay in Tokyo. Lively and popular, relaxed and family-friendly, and also rich in ancient heritage represented by the Fukagawa Fudou-dō temple and the Tomioka Hachiman-gū shrine.
The latter offers a flea market once a week. in January, not many people, but still a dozen stands, and I had the simple joy of buying a pretty original print from the beginning of the Meiji era, for a very modest price. 😎

    @abik thank you ! that's true, and for many reasons, for instance one reason being the incredible kindness of the people, and another reason... well, the high availability of photo stores where you can buy equipment and film!
    I also could speak hours long about the culture, the food, etc...
    I will return to Japan next June, and I have being learning the language for almost a year now.
