Those guys are called ermine moths or Gespinstmotten in German and they grow up in random parts of the forest, where they decide to stay and coat everything in gigantic webs that feel like plastic. They cover the ground and the plants and even entire trees from top to bottom and make places look like death, but they are actually nice guys and leave after about a month when they have learnt to fly and the trees and plants don't really care about them and continue about their day. I shot those pictures with a cheap soft filter.
