Kienberg

There are six mountains over 100 meters in Berlin. Most are mountains of rubble.
Yes, there is even a mountain hiking book :-))
At 102.2 meters, the Kienberg is the sixth highest mountain and is located in the east of Berlin.
There is even a cable car that was built as part of the 2017 international garden show. The "Wolkenhain" viewing platform was also built in 2017 and enables you to climb another 20 meters.
The view is fantastic.

And it is an interesting structure, too. The mountains of rubble, were these rubble of war?

@neufotomacher Not all mountains of rubble were created from rubble from the post-war period. The Kienberg was enlarged with the rubble from the construction of the large settlement in the east of Berlin in the 70s and 80s. Originally it was a natural mountain with a height of approx. 58 meters. the viewing platform was created in 2017 for the international garden show. The name is a combination of clouds and grove .
