Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte Croix

The day we went there we came from the mountains near Grasse. We knew the weather won't be nice. But it was until we arrived there. And suddenly it started to rain. Heavy rain. At the first viewpoint my GF and the kids stayed in the camper and said "If there is something impressive to watch come back and tell us but otherwise we don't leave the car!" The moment I was at the viewpoint it was clear and it was IMPRESSIVE! I went back. But 5 minutes later it was all cloudy again and you could not see anything. I took shot 1 about 5 minutes before shot 2 of the album. We were all pretty flashed. The trip through thee canyon was a blast. We were joking around that when we leave the canyon the weather will be fine. But it did not stop raining. When we reached the end of canyon it was raining cats - as we say in german. I could't even see the street sometimes. Not so funny when the street is really curvy and at the left side it goes down about 100m or even more. But the french drivers always wanted to pass us what really wasn't possible. Finally this trip through hell was over and we wanted to spent the night at Lac de Sainte Croix. And about 3 minutes after we could see the lake for the first time the clouds went away and it was sunny and warm. So we spent another 2 days or so there and even made a boat trip into the canyon with about 1.000 others. But it was worth it.
