   Helios-44 is a Soviet Copy of the Carl Zeiss Biotar 58mm ƒ / 2 Lens produced under the Helios Lens Brand. The Lens was Made in Russia for the M42 Lens Mount in large Quantities. Even if Production was discontinued in the early 1990s, this very good Lens can easily be found on the Internet at a low Price. It was the standard Lens for the Zenit E-Camera.

   hi @sirio174 & @lizkoppert !!!! This Russian lens is indestructible as my Ural, the Russian BMW with sidecar. reliable and indestructible at all temperatures and in all weathers. That's why I always have it in my camera bag. I'm glad that you think so too !!!! your Lomofriend Ralph
