Pole Cracks (Northpole #7)

So there you have it. After 6 hours flight from DüDO we finally reached the north pole and I more or less have only analogue pictures of it. You got to know, that other then the south pole, the north pole is floating ice without landmass. So it wouldn't make sense to put a flag on it, because the ice is moving. So you got to measure the geographical pole with compasses, GPS and other devices. There are actually 4 poles, the magnetic, the geomagnatic and the Pole of Inaccessibility. But the most relevant one is the Geographic Pole. So when we approached we counted down and then flew twice a circle around it, thus making the shortest around the world trip possible. Within 15 seconds around all timezones - one time around the world. I was glad, that there were some cracks in the ice, otherwise, there would not have been anything of contrast in the white open.
