Lomo Luke's Analogue Advice #2

Choose the equipment that's most appropriate for the type of shooting you want to do. For this album, for example, I knew I wanted a versatile colour film (Kodak Ultramax 400), a simple 35mm body with built-in lightmeter (Pentax SF7), a prime lens with a big aperture that would allow me to get a very short depth of field (SMC Pentax-M, 50mm, f1.7), and a zoom lens with macro setting that would let me capture everything from wide angles to close-ups (Takumar-A, 28-80mm). Or you could just ignore the nerdy details and shoot EVERYTHING with an Agfa 'LeBox' disposable camera – hey, it's a free world, right? ;-)
