A treasure from an attic.

My great-uncle was a keen photographer throughout the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's.

He travelled to many places and documented them with his Leica.

I discovered a fragment of his work a couple of weeks ago in an attic.

He was a pretty good photographer.

Just out of interest I present them for you.

Sorry but I am unsure of a lot of the locations.

I have a suspicion that it is from Egypt or Greece but they travelled to most places, and the notebooks that indexed these have been lost in attic and house clearances, in the mists of time.

It's Egypt, near Luxor, the place is called "Deir el-Bahari" and this is the temple of queen Hatchepsout! Nice pic by the way
