This year was my third visit to Pahiyas and the excitement never felt any different. Always looking forward to see the gorgeous decorations of the houses along the parade route - with the town's harvest as decorations. Kiping, the rice wafer, is the usual element of the attractive decoration that is typically floral in motif. It is made of rice paste molded on big leaves and brightly colored.
