Passage

This is a roll of infrared i shot around the countryside of my hometown of Rajamaki. The pictures took a dramatic look on account of my camera giving a slow exposure to the film. Me thinks it is time to take to be cleaned :) the resulting images remind me of the work Sally Mann did on her book What Remains. I loved the photos she took for that project and these pictures, although shot at day and in good light, display the same kind of mourfulness and character that i loved in the Sally Mann pictures. The finality and beauty of life can be seen although the images stay very subtle and give hints of shapes. What is there is what you want to see....
