We spent most of our day in Pinecrest. It's the sort of place we have to drive to when we need art supplies, 120mm color film developing (c-41 only) or when we want to visit a nice place and get a great meal.
I'm getting around to developing some color film. This is one roll I was antsy to develop. 1/2 rolls of Kodak EIR. Haven't shot the other roll yet; I was curious how this would come out.

Wow. At first I was super iffy about this film. Bought it, found out that my current IR filter (780mm) was too strong. Bought a 720mm. Then I was iffy about metering with the filter on. But hey took a risk! came out great; still have more rolls of it.

Really digging this pistol grip; it really rocks on my F3. I have a shot or two with it on my Belair here; but looks like I'll have to get a better shot of it.
Had to do some tech service for a lecture; typically do. Switched mid roll from my FT2 over to my F3 when I found a spider in my room. >.> little blurry needed more light; but I wanted to try out my new DW-4.

-.- had to hang both the light trees from my ceiling. Things with a flash and pushed film. Omaha steaks also sent some food and we played with the dry ice.
My second attempt with Caffenol using this 10-year expired film. Clearly the time was slightly wrong, its all a bit grey, but I have no more of it so I won't be getting it right!

this is something i have never seen before. there was a silk of a spider going from a fence to the tree you see on the pic. it was about 3 to 4 meters long. the leaf you see is from a linden tree and the tiny bar on it made it hang on the silk. and then there was this fly landing on it what caused the leaf to swing and seesaw. but after a few seconds it stopped swinging. so the fly went up in the air just to land on the leaf again to make it swing. then again and again and again. this was really amazing. after some time i tried to tease the fly with my finger but it kept sitting on the leaf and didn't want to leave the swing. i found this very impressing. in the end there were several people standing around and watching the fly having fun.
