Colour IR images shot around Wenlock Priory and Buildwas Abbey in Shropshire, UK. The film was OWAX Infrared 400, loaded in a Leica M3. The lenses were 21 mm Super Angulon, 35 mm Summaron and 50 mm APO Summicron. I aimed to shoot at ISO 400, with the appropriate filter factor for the yellow and orange filters I was using, but most of the images were overexposed. As such, I'll likely shoot a stop or 2 lower next time! It's a shame that this film is a pain to get, as the results have potential.

How has that apo faired with infrared? Do you still correct for IR focusing or is it true that the apo lenses don’t really need to be adjusted?

@that_came_out_wrong It is a very well corrected lens, and I didn't make any post hoc focusing adjustments; then again, it's less important with colour IR, as some of the visible spectrum contributes to the image, unlike IR B+W where you cut everything below 720nm (or longer, if you have an appropriate filter and film, but true longer IR film is harder to find these days!). I haven't tried this lens with IR monochrome film, but it would be interesting to see if the red correction would be sufficient for near IR without adjustment!
