Little Flower Spider

We brought some wild flowers back from country - and this cute fellow run out of them while we were riding subway. I caught it and put back - and later transferred it to flower pots we keep below the windows. On the left side here seems to be part of my thumbnail holding petal on which the spider sits. It's natural color is light-green #35mm #spider #insect #nature #macro

Excellent picture. Light green, straw yellow, I'd be careful with these type of spiders.

@neufotomacher Thanks! Hm-m-m, do you think they catch people and feed them to their young? That one was hardly half-inch in size... :)

Some of these hunting spiders are aggressive and have fangs large enough to get in your blood.

@neufotomacher Ah, got it - I missed the fact that you live, as I remember, somewhere at southern edge of US, right? Here (at the latitude of Alaska) insects and spiders are generally smaller, less lively and rarely hazardous. If by chance you shoot one of these local spiders you mention, I would be quite curious to see. Or perhaps I can go google a bit. Thanks for sharing! :)
