Pioneers

This monument stands in front of Pionerskaya subway station in St-Petersburg. Station is named after "Pioneers" - communist youth movement (it is from late 1980s). So the authors made the figures to reflect the spirit of but not included any emblems, insignia or red neck-kerchiefs. #35mm #blackandwhite #monument #history #ussr

@bblkkskgv should i add to author's description... pioneer in many other languages means "first man to cross the unknown". In our childhood we all were the Pioneers to enter the Life..
