Poros is a small island very close to Athens, ideal for weekends. Luckily, I have a friend who lives there and I visit her from time to time. These shots were taken at the beginning of August 2017, with my Minolta Dynax 505 and a Fuji Superia 200 iso.

Como, Ottobre 2017. In tutto il mondo cristiano (cioè anche protestante) il 2 Novembre è la Festa dei Morti, soppressa in Italia per tenere solo la controriformista festa di Ognissanti del 1 Novembre. Una scelta vergognosa e irrispettosa delle minoranze religiose in Italia. Una vergogna del Regime Democristiano degli anni '70.
When I saw these two guys in the park, both with the legs raised, I asked them if I could photograph their soles, to make a play on words; and entitle this series: "At the foot of ... the monument to the dead soldiers"! The answer was obviously: Yes, no problem; and the boy asked me if he should take off his socks ... no needed, I replied, the writing on socks is a gem!
Ai piedi... del monumento ai caduti di Como! Quando ho visto questi due ragazzi nel verde, entrambi con le gambe sollevate, ho chiesto loro se potevo fotografare le loro piante dei piedi... per fare un gioco di parole ed intitolare questa serie: "Ai piedi... del monumento ai caduti"! La risposta è stata ovviamente: Sì, nessun problema; il ragazzo mi ha chiesto se doveva togliere le calze... ma no, ho risposto, e poi la scritta sui calzini è una chicca!
This is the second album dedicated to the Expo Night 2015, a public event in Como held in the night of May 30, 2015, waiting for the EXPO opening on May 1st. The first part of the event was an exhibition of the Sonics, a nice acrobats teams (see previuos album). After this show, there was a DJ concert in the public park of Como from 23 p.m. to 4 a.m. As in the first part, the film used was a Kodak Tri-X pushed at 1600 ISO. I wanted high contrast and I accept here the blur like William Klein in many his photos.
Como, Settembre 2016. La tradizionale Sagra della Gioventù organizzata dall'Oratorio di San Giorgio con rappresentazioni teatrali di brani di musica leggera, canzoni, ed anche un ristorante all'aperto sotto un tendone.
Prima di pubblicare le spettacolari foto dell'8208 Lighting Design Festival 2017 di Como vi propongo qualche installazione interessante ripresa in pieno giorno. A presto con le foto in notturna!
