The Simsonbrunnen is a fountain in the centre of Gera's market square. The fountain figure depicts the biblical lion conqueror Simson (or Samson). The current fountain figure was created in 1979 by the local sculptor Heinz Plath.

After a long break, I was finally out and about in the analog world again. On a trip to Gera in the state of Thuringia, my favorite all-purpose weapon - the Minox 35 ML - accompanied me. It was loaded with a Kodak T-Max 100, which I developed in 1:9 FX-39 II at 19.5 °C for 8:30 minutes.
