The Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve is located on the southern shore of Lake Iseo and is the most significant wetland in terms of extension and ecological importance in the province of Brescia. However, it is a rather small area: only 360 hectares, mainly composed of reed beds and ponds surrounded by cultivated fields or man-made artefacts (roads, houses). A part is in direct contact with Lake Iseo and is called lametta, then there is an internal part, made up of large tanks spaced out by thin earth banks, called lama and another area with tanks obtained from the excavation of the clay. In this shot the light at sunset after the rain was magnificent and filtered through the vegetation, in this case common reed (Phragmites australis)
