Lake Mead

Boarding on a plane is always a great excitement. Hoping to have a window seat and let the mind drift off as the earth rotates underneath. Gain or lose hours, across the tropics once or twice during the same day. Once I even missed out on a full Friday as I crossed the "dayline" at about midnight local time. Lakes, coasts of major cities, and the infinite right above. Cloud patterns, all sorts of light scattering.
