i now shot 4 or 5 rolls (about 150 shots) with this cam but only got few sharp/crisp pictures. - less than 40%. this roll is OK compared to the ones before. but having a look at the LC-W photo collection of LSI i have to say that even my sharpest shot is far from being as sharp as the ones shown there. pretty often there is such a blurry unsharp soup on the pics.
i even tested the cam with an inch rule and did only get one crisp shot with the exact setting. take a look at the last shot of the album: there are several layers and one of them has to be sharp due to the settings. but no.

From ”filmsoup-swap” project with my favorite photographer fotobes. He shot first in UK, and then I shot in Japan. After finishing the roll I ”cooked” the film. I put the dissolved neutral detergent onto all around the film in a darkroom. Then rewind the film and heated the canister in boiled water for 5 minutes. After I dried the film I got it developed. Came out psychedelic image. We don’t discuss what we have each taken photographs of, so the results are always a surprise. Ever since the first film soup was 'served', every Lomographer has eagerly made their own recipe and review. In this article, I would like to share my experience with my own secret recipe!
This is one of my favourite lomographs. It gives a good impression of the atmosphere at the festival. It was very crowded at the Killers concert, when these two decided to climb this post in the back of the audience to have a better view of the stage.

I shot this film as a joke to a friend of seedy neons for a doubles project. I forgot and put the film back in my new films bag! When I shot the roll I thought it was new, and just enjoyed NYE with my friends. Unfortunately when the roll was returned the joke backfired and a stripper auditions sign was all over my face!
I love to experiment and create interesting images rather than technically accurate photographs. This film soup was made by adding 2 cups of Asda Moonflower and Ylang Ylang washing powder to a bowl of tepid water. I dropped 2 films in and left them over night. I removed the films and transferred them to the airing cupboard for a further 2 days. The films were then left degrading in my room for about a month before I got round to shooting them. Before shooting I just used my hairdryer and dark bag to give them a quick blast. Despite the drying time the films had a stickiness too them which didn't really go. I shot this film once on my LC-Wide of images of Street Art in the Brick Lane and Shoreditch area of East London. I then transferred the film to my Pentax ME Super and shot the dinosaur exhibits at the Natural History Museum. When the film was finished I rewound, however to my dismay the film had come off the spool and I exposed it to the light. It took me a minute to get the back on before I considered most of the film had been destroyed. I don't know if these neon colours are as a result of the soup or my light leak. I find with the Pentax ME Super the film is wound so loose that a great deal of light may have penetrated this film. I have another film to develop from this batch so I will confirm the outcome after my next batch of processing which had no light leaks!

I love my LC-A+ but one of its flaws is you can’t get really close to your subject. Luckily there is an easy fix that involves an LC-A splitzer, the right close up filters, and two minutes of your time.
