I am no big fan of popular culture icon Lady Gaga. And the little that I know about her is that she sports these shocking costumes and props everytime she appears on big event. Thus, she always gets media attention. Anyway these are doubles on her image with street vignettes which I took on the way to an outreach performance to flood-affected communities in Macabebe, Pampanga. What is more important for me about this set is the experiment on bleaching my film. I guess the freckled frames of an earlier album are the manifestation of the effects of the bleach reacting to the film material. I would suspect that I finished the process too early that freckled effects were not overwhelmingly pronounced in this set. These shots were latter exposures so when the film was rewound, they were in the inner loop (ie., they got much less direct contact with the chemicals as compared to the ones in the earlier shots). I think I was conservative and cautious with this bleaching process. Maybe next time I'll prolong the process a little bit.
