Handel Festival - George Frideric (or Frederick) Handel, 23 February 1685 – 14 April 1759, 2022 - 100 Years of Handel Festivals in Halle

From May 27 to June 12, 2022, the Handel Festival will celebrate a major anniversary: the first “Hallisches Händelfest” took place from May 25 to 28, 1922, and provided a multifaceted program primarily with actors from the city. 100 years later, the enthusiasm for Handel’s music continues unabated worldwide. As the only German Handel festival at authentic locations and with more than 80 program points, many visitors from near and far are expected in Halle.
