   £5 is indeed a good buy. Ones I was lucky to buy a Vivitar 24mm for my Nikon FE at a similar price. A few years ago I bought a Canon EOS 300-body for a pound (£1). Not fully tested the seller on ebay said. Luckily it works just fine and I still use it.

   I was thinking of buying an adapter for 42 mm screw mount. But this is a good option: The camera came with a 28 mm wide angle lens, now I've got quite a range covered. The 1 £ for the Canon body was luck !

   @crosschannel I was lucky he didn't know how good it was. I later bought a batterygrip for it for a little under £7 from the USA, but the postage hurt me a bit on that...
