Shots taken in the quarter around the main station in Luxembourg at night and in the early morning. The images are a bit over the limits of the film and camera. A faster lens would have been better but the "dream sellers" in place were suspicous enough about me standing around and taking pictures so I left the Nikon in the bag.

We went to a great jazz concert in Greenwich village, to hear Ingrid Jensen and the Adam Birnbaum Quintet at the Smalls Jazz club. It was a great evening with great music and on the way back home I still had this jazzy rythms in my head and tried to translate them into some pictures of NYC at night...
I was walking in the footsteps of Roald Amundsen in Svalbard and stayed one week in the northernmost settlement on the Planet: Ny Ålesund. Just before the north pole. I stayed in a scientific station and was afraid taking shots would be impossible in the polar night due to the lack of light. But I put my LCA 120 on the slippery ice or on a gorillapod and exposed the living hell out of my pictures. And Roald himself got a lighting show, all for the sake of science...
