On July 27, 2023, we had on the program a visit to the famous Recoleta cemetery (Cementerio de la #Recoleta), where Eva Duarte Péron, the charismatic wife of former President Péron, is buried. I find that the cemetery is too mineral. I fought again with my Fujica GS 645, and I also decided to use a film that had expired 20 years ago, a Fujicolor 160S, which tore in the camera. With the help of @grandphilippe, we managed to get it started again, and some photos finally came out of the adventure! There is some waste, but the result, very much on red tones (two photos come out with green tones, and one with a dominant blue), is ultimately not bad at all.
About 12 years ago I met Aditya Indra virtually at Lomonesia facebook group. He was Surabayanese, East Java, who was worked in United States. One day I got a mail from him contain one roll of Orwo color negative film very expired. So challenging but after process and scan it at Seni abadi Foto, Bandung, quite disappointed with the result 🤭 Recently I re-scan the cliche at other photo lab which is Chandra Foto Bandung and surpriiiiise. Very different result. Very delectable expired tone 🍽 I wanna said thank to my never meet lomo friend Aditya Indra but his social media account was inactive 😭
I bought a bunch of Svema DS-4 rolls on eBay, knowing that it's almost an impossible film stock to process in modern chemicals. But I tried it anyway. After reading some info on the internet I decided to develop it in Cinestill Cs-41 kit at 24-26°C, 10 minuted developer and 10minutes of Blix (Both used for more than 25 rolls of normal C-41 film already) and BAM! I got some amazing results if I can say so myself. Better than any film soup I tried before. I'd love to write an article about if, so Lomography, ask me about it! :D
