My yard is pretty much awful but this flowering bush is ALWAYS one of my favorite things when spring hits. It just makes such pretty photos. I shot all of these as the sun was coming down the horizon so I got great sun through the flowers and making it glow etc in some of the shots. I used my Auto Miranda 50mm lens with 3 diopters for a +6 rating for this shoot.

    Thanks @schugger - I love to shoot them when I can, especially if I can do so with a shallow enough dof so that the usually ugly background vanishes and all you see is the flowers or plants. Thanks @cadee2014 - I was pleasantly surprised by the Kodak Ultramax 400 film. It's the replacement here for Kodak Gold 400 and I think even though it's supposed to be the same film, it has better more vivid colors then the Gold to me.

    ...right now I feel most of my current fotos contain flowers...most of the time I try to fill the complete picture with them to "hide" any background... :-) @alienmeatsack
