Bandelier National Monument

This national park was home to Ancestral Pueblo people living in the Frijoles Canyon. My husband and I walked along the Main Loop Trail past the village of Tyuonyi and their adjacent Cliff Dwellings. As I took pictures my husband read to me from the self-guided tour book. We then returned to the visitors center by way of the Nature Trail where we saw the signs of the floods and fires from the last two years.
