so do you get these films your are destorying developed at a lab? and not tell them its covered in all these chemicals? because i went into a shop today and they said they wouldn't do it because it would contaminate the chemicals.. do i just not tell them and get them to develop it ? btw nice pics !!

Hi @rachelann. Nope I develop my films at home using the tetenal C-41 kit. I've heard those lab people can get pretty mad if you dont tell them.... My film canister was in a bad way too, rusted up as i left it so long to shoot I don't know if you will get away with it!.

Yeah I've never developed colour film at home I have no idea where to even start! Have u got any tips or anything to help me if I end up having to do it at home! Would really appreciate it as I'm experimenting for uni projects :) I don't wanna annoy the people at the labs but I dunno how else to get them developed ha !

Really really cool effect! Please let s know about the development question -- how can you get the films developed without contaminating the lab's development chemical batch? My dad used to develop films himself in the 1970s -- how hard is that?

@eris you're exactly right, I develop my own films. I use the c-41 tetenal kit. the kit itself is excellent value for money and as the kit is starting to expire I develop the film destroys. set up is kind of expensive But totally worth while! Works out so much cheaper
