Exciting and charismatic, Mumbai is a cocktail of degradation, huge amount of people, bollywood and vitality which put together the pass, the present and the future of India.

Markets of Mumbai - Chor Bazaar (Thieves Market)
(Please note, this article is in another language)
The markets of Old Mumbai offers you some amazing sights and even better photos. Walk on the streets that have seen Mumbai evolve into this incredibly stunning metropolis that it is now. Talk to people who have seen this metamorphosis and of course, check out the place before the ugly beast of development razes these beautiful lanes and buildings and replaced them with glass, steel, and concrete.

(Please note, this article is in another language)
They say that you shouldn't take your wallet in these streets or park your car nearby, cause there is a chance that you'd get pick pocketed and someone will steal the tires off your car. Interested? Surely made me interested as hell, so Partha, Anondo and I went off to Mutton Street.
  • Those Elephantastic Caves

    Those Elephantastic Caves
(Please note, this article is in another language)
As corny as that may have sounded, the term "elephantastic" has been used for tourism, which I wouldn't dare dispute. It is indeed nothing but fantastic. A few nautical miles away from Mumbai's Gateway of India, the island is worth a daytrip, especially on those days when you're just tired of the same old daily city grind.
  • My College, My Adda

    My College, My Adda
(Please note, this article is in another language)
In Hindi, 'adda' is a noun, with the nominal form of the word meaning the location or nest of a group or community, usually someplace shady. The etymology can be traced to the original meaning of the word, which means the "perching spot or perch for birds". Me and my friends refer to our college as our 'adda' - our ritual meeting place. Here are a few photos of my college taken with the lovely Diana Mini.

Fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to live in such a culturally stunning city, there was no point in putting the days to waste. Me and a couple of friends explored the city as much as we could and this is what we came to make out of Bombay (or Mumbai) in a nutshell.

Carnival Party at I. C. Colony!
(Please note, this article is in another language)
    I. C. Colony is without a doubt, one of the nicest places to stay in Mumbai. The streets are lively, people are warm and conversations are easy to strike. No one is a stranger and everyone is a friend! Sprung around the I.C. Church and St. Francis D'Assisi High School, IC, as we all call the colony, seems to be in a perpetual state of partying all year round. But with the carnival celebrations this year, I.C. residents proved that they can put up an event full of pure awesomeness on the Mumbai Map.

    Gateway Of India

Me and another gal pal decided to visit Churchgate apart from the normal shopping rout in Mumbai usually done by our colleagues. Taking the train (the busiest rail service in the world) was really surprising and was not what we had in mind. You must be thinking we are crazy not to take the taxi straight but it was a breeze apart from buying the ticket!! Although the cabin was old and packed with lots of people, it never got stinky and the ceiling was full of fans blowing. The ride was joyous and smooth. And so we
