Sunset at JB Danga Bay

A wonderful weekend starts off with a spontaneous trip with friends to the nearby city of Johor Bahru, where we take exciting jump shots and bask in the golden hour.

Danga Bay or Teluk Danga is the largest recreational park in the city of Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Located near Istana Bukit Serene, about 7 km from Johor Bahru’s city center, there are often events held there during weekends, and it is a popular haunt among couples and families alike.
It is the first and largest mixed residential-commercial development in Johor Bahru and stretches along a 25km scenic waterfront facing the Straits of Johor.

A couple of friends suggested traveling there over the weekend and we had endless fun taking jump shots and silhouette shots against the beautiful setting sun during the golden hour.

Some boats and yachts also often dock near the Danga Bay Area, making it a really scenic place to relax and take in the wonderful scenery.

Those coming from Singapore and Johor Bahru city centre can easily access Danga Bay via Skudai Highway via the Danga Bay interchange.
