Jalan Reko's Downtown: A Must-Visit In Bangi

3

So you’re in Bangi in Selangor, Malaysia and got nothing to do at night? There’s no point of doing nothing in your room, just start your engine and head to downtown Jalan Reko – a haven for a wide range of cheap products. You can get almost anything here especially football jerseys.

Downtown Jalan Reko is an attraction in Bangi. It takes about 15 minutes to get there from Bandar Baru Bangi. You can drive straight away from UKM (National University of Malaysia) and after about 5 minutes you’ll reach Jalan Reko on your left (after passing through Shell station). Jalan Reko’s downtown is just a normal night market, offering you ton of cheap products. It’s really worth visiting.

This night market is a one-way market ( L shape). Sometimes there is DJ that plays Malaysia and Indonesia’s evergreen song. You can get lots of stuff here at a very low price. T-shirts, jerseys, remote control cars, you name it. You can also try to negotiate with the seller so that you can get the stuff that you want at an even lower cost. :) There are also some restaurants nearby where you can overcome your hunger and quench your thirst. There’s plenty of choices available such as nasi lemak, yong tau foo, etc.

There are also massage services available at a very low rate to help you relax and before I forget, they might close their shops during Sunday and Monday (if I’m not mistaken). So just take note of that before coming here and enjoy bargain shopping!
