Lomographic Society International HQ Vienna Austria

Lomographic Society International is located at Hollergasse 41, A 1150, Vienna, Austria. A huge space with a courtyard area to the rear with a red painted wall saying lomography; with as I recall 3 levels to the building making up the Vienna HQ. It appears to be like a tardis as it just seems to grow and grow level to level inside as you walk up the concrete stairs.
One of the most interesting area’s within the building is the archives –in which box upon box of images sorted by colour is stored- I’d estimate that well over a million images must be housed there. Everywhere you go there are lomo walls and memories of all things lomo – the building as you would expect is a very quirky and truly unique feel to it. It actually smells of LCA!
Each level opens up to an expansive larger room which has then been sectioned off into smaller work areas. All in all a center hive of activity with that buzz of energy zapping around. A really fun place to hang in and visit. Of course you can shots lomo’s images every 2 steps ;)
