Here be monsters

Using a cheap HAMA close-up lens. The "monster" is msade from latex and gained some notority as a prop for the first concerts of the "last Gothic rock band" THE HOUSE OF USHER with Jörg Kleudgen.

    As well as the shoulder monster from the oilprint?

    @abris It is the same monster. This is just a close-up of the same thing. It was made for a friend of mine, Jörg Kleudgen, around 1990 or 1991 when Jörg's band was still so bad they needed a funny prop to draw attention. He cleaned out his house some time ago and thus the shoulder monster was looking for a new home. :-)
    BTW: The other photo is no print, but the "negative" or "positive" rather of a wetplate collodion photo on a glass plate.

    I think making shoulder monsters is a very important skill. I hope your friend will master it.
