Internship for Fashion Design (HQ Vienna, Austria)

The Fashion Intern at Lomography is an integral part of support that is offered to our Team to create innovative design. You’ll research and deliver materials, design, market and lifestyle trends that influence and impact the process from product briefing to concept and the quality control stadium.

As an intern for the Creative Department at Lomography, your duties will include
  • Develop, implement and execute fashion designs
  • Come up with creative and artistic concepts
  • Follow up on production work of materials
  • Maintain a visually appealing look
  • Prepare mockups
  • Co-ordinate content and materials for projects
Requirements
  • Student majoring design, fashion product development, etc.
  • Understanding of materials trends, fabric characteristics, materials compatibility, and materials placement
  • Understanding of how materials can affect products and sales
  • Knowledge of current design programs
  • Clear understanding of product design, techniques and processes
  • Skilled craftmanship
  • Visual thinking
  • Interest in Photography
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Creative and open minded
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Flexibility, efficiency and well organized

Employment
  • Voluntary traineeship
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 3-6 months
  • Compensation: 400 € per month
  • Please note that this internship requires EU-citizenship (mind transitional provisions), citizenship in the European Economic Area, Swiss citizenship, Working Holiday Visa or a standing work permit for Austria.
